What to do in Buenos Aires

Visit El Tigre

el tigre

El Tigre is located 30 km's north west of Buenos Aires. Accessible with the 'Tigre' train from the Retiro Railway Station, lanes 1 or 2 (50 minutes) or by regular bus 60, leaving from Constucion ( 90 minutes).

El Tigre is close enough that you can go there in the morning and come back in the evening quite easily. By car from Teresita Bed and Breakfast it's an hour drive. Tigre is a small island where three rivers, The Tigre, The Lujan and the Reconquista, surround it. There are many activities and things to see in the Tigre. A good ways to explore it is hiring a small boat (with driver) and have him/her take you on a tour where you'll be able to explore the rivers and parts of the Delta. Otherwise, a trip in a catamaran by the islands of the Tigre, it's a more affordable option and there are plenty of tours to choose from once you get to el Tigre.

There are a some great places to eat and if you want to stay overnight there are some options like Bed and Breakfast to stay. During weekends there is a market at the port selling fresh produce and local handycrafts at much better prices than those you will find around other neighborhoods in Buenos Aires.

The islands of Paraná River Delta Tigre is the starting point to visit hundreds of islands forming up the Paraná River Delta at the mouth of Río de la Plata (River Plate), where there are residences, hostels and sports clubs. Tours along the Delta and to Martín García Island, a natural and historical reserve, start from the river port of Tigre.

The delta of Tigre, this neighborhood is a group of islands which form a huge delta of the Plata River, some people live in islands and they have to take a boat which is a bus

Also worth to see is Museo Naval de la Nacion. It was founded on may 20th 1892 Address: Paseo Victorica 602 (1648) Tigre Pcia. de Buenos Aires.
