Hello Teresa,
I am home in San Jose. It was wonderful staying at your B&B and I loved learning how to make empanadas and chipa guazu! You made my stay in BA very enjoyable and I am eager to return as soon as I can find an inexpensive flight. It was so enjoyable to relax in your magical garden and listen to the canary. Next time I hope I can take a wine education course and maybe have my backback copied.
I had quite a time with the wine I bought from LaCava — I totally forgot about no being allowed to have any liquids as carry on and the security xray didn't say anything even though I told him I had wine in the box! So they took the box from me just before I boarded — needless to say the box did not have sufficient padding since I thought I would carry it on. Next time I will ask Senor Garcia to pack bottles to survive checked luggage since that is the only way to bring it to the US. I have to check the bottles for cracks since the box was dumped on to the baggage carousel in San Francisco — oh well it made for an interesting time.
I will be very busy with work for the next month or so but I hope to squeeze in time to make empanadas.
Best,
Phyllis
