Outdoor markets in Buenos Aires

Feria de Plaza Serrano

Located in the trendy neighborhood of Palermo Viejo, this street fair presents the best of the area's hip boutiques in a comprehensive event. Vendors set up shop along a circular plaza and sell jewelry, chic wood products and toys, ceramics, vintage accessories and stained glass items. Artists also gather at this plaza at the playground area and display their work in this temporary gallery. If you head for a lunch break, it might not mean a break from the fair-many nearby restaurants and bars also make room for local vendors and designers within their spaces. So if you happen to go home with more than leftovers, you can be honest about not intentionally heading out to shop.
